Electricity and gas central heating included, welcome pack, squirrel coal burning stove with fuel supplied, linen and towels included, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, high chair, travel cot, TV, dvd player, radio, CD, fridge no ice box, microwave, automatic washing machine, dishwasher, fully enclosed garden, patio & decked area, patio furniture, bbq, off road parking in private courtyard outside the cottage. Pets welcome. No Smoking.

Young Children Safety: There is no stair gate at the property but there is a door which separates the stairs from the ground floor facilities.

Things to do

Visit Belfast's Titanic Quarter - The Titanic was one of the modern marvels in vessel construction for her time. A masterpiece in size and craftsmanship, the Titanic remains one of the most famous ships known throughout the world, infamous for her tragic end colliding with an iceberg in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. 

Carrickfergus Castle & Belfast City Centre are a short train journey from Whitehead where there is a free park and ride facility. Dublin is also accessible with 1 train change at Central Station, Belfast. Portrush also has a link line with 1 change. The famous St. George's Market in Belfast City Centre is well worth a visit (Thurs & Fri) and is located just beside the Central Station where you disembark from the train. The City Centre has at least 2 new major undercover shopping mall's for any "wet" days and you can pop into the Tourist Information Centre for advice on Tours and Entertainment.


There are 3 Golf Clubs close to the property:- 1 in Whitehead just walking distance 500 yards which serves food during the summer months. The Municipal Golf Club on Slaughterford Road, Whitehead (1 mile from cottage) and Larne Golf Club situate in picturesque IslandMagee also serving food on Thurs/Fri/Sat and Sunday lunch (6 miles from cottage) In Whitehead: Beauty Salon, Hairdressers, Florist, Chemist, 3 Cafe's, Video/DVD rental, Chinese Takeaway, Fish & Chips & many more Village shops. Beach 2.6 miles. Children's Playground 1 mile. Coastal walks 11/2 miles. Fishing, Bird watching 2 miles. Horse riding 4 miles. Leisure centre & indoor pool 6 miles. Up to date Tourist Attraction Leaflets available in the cottage. Days Out: Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Reed Rope Bridge, Portstuart, Royal Portrush Golf Club, Dunluce Castle, Portrush, Ballycastle, Glenarm, Glenariff Forest Park, Cushendun, Cushendall, Bushmills Distillery, Sheans Horse Farm, Armoy, Antrim Coast Road, Carnfunnock Family Fun Zone, Larne, Dunluce Links, Irish Linen Centre, Ulster Folk Museum.
